Lash Extensions

Lindsey

I was being cautious that I would have to go for surgery again, this time on my shoulder. Which would make my job 2000x harder to do. So I haven't been focusing on my lash business as much. Today I talked to my orthopedic dr and we are going to go some physical therapy before jumping to slicing and dicing. FUN STUFF. Well see what happens.

Well since I don't have to immediately worry about a surgery I've decided to run a lash special again. I've changed it up a bit to reduce no shows or same day cancellations because those have been getting out of hand really bad recently. So anyone interested in a New Lash Extension set should be able to pay online through this website and use the Coupon code LIZ2020 for 50% off. I will do the first fill included with this however it needs to be scheduled and followed 12-14 days after new set is applied. Any further after that the fill is considered VOID.

A couple questions I get from new people searching for lash extensions and wondering if it is right for them.

Lash Extensions when applied 1:1 ration or with the proper amount of fan weight will not damage your natural lashes. Your natural will twist turning into your eye as it grows out if the lash extension that was put on had to be to heavy to cover a gap. However if over done will cause natural lashes to break relieving them of their over bearing weight.

Most eye lids contain an average of 3 rows of lashes. We are working within millimetres of space. Even HALF millimetres! The average natural lash thickness can range from 0.03 in some ladies around their 60's for example, to .17 millimetres in teens- Rough estimate to give you an idea (its freaking TINY in case you didn't know).

When the lash artist is trying to work every movement you make with your body reflects in your eyelids. IF at all possible use this time to take a nap, Your artist will not complain!

Lash Extensions are not cheap, easy to apply nor is it typically our fault if they fall off a week after being applied - that is usually an environmental issue- most commonly reflected in sleeping routines. A typical artist will have a lash contract for you &/or send home written dos or don'ts - do NOT hesitate for written instructions if you need them. Its perfectly acceptable.

The up keep on lash extensions depends entirely upon how you care for them, how you sleep, how often you cleanse your eyelid/lash line, your seasonal allergies, the change in seasons, your biology- cell growth rate/ keratin production, are you taking vitamins? Your diet greatly affects how often you will need a fill. My rule of thumb is if your lashes are not bothering you don't bother them. I do not recommend daily brushing to my clients where some artists do. Follow the guidelines given to you specifically.

Lashes typically rotate on a 6-9 week schedule.

I hope this was informative!
